OUR APPROACH
A transition capability lens for better decisions.
OTI looks at an organisation through four interconnected capabilities that determine how well it can navigate transition.
Transition rarely creates a single organisational problem. It changes the conditions under which trust is earned, decisions are made, action is coordinated and adaptation becomes possible. OTI looks at these capabilities together, revealing patterns that are difficult to see in isolation.
THE FOUR CAPABILITIES
Four different demands. One transition system.
Each capability is made up of observable organisational behaviours. OTI looks for the patterns within and between them — because strength in one area cannot always compensate for weakness in another.
Legitimacy — Are we trusted?
Understanding · Value · Reliability · Relationality · Integrity
Alignment — Can we deliver?
Accountability · Authority · Visibility · Coordination · Mobilisation
Clarity — Do we know?
Meaning · Priorities · Focus · Evidence · Judgement
Adaptability — Can we continue?
Sensing · Interpretation · Responsiveness · Resilience · Learning · Renewal
READ AS A SYSTEM
The pattern matters more than any single capability.
An organisation can be strong in one capability and still be constrained by another. OTI looks at how the four capabilities interact — because transition pressure often appears in the relationships between them.
Clarity without Alignment can produce good decisions that do not travel. Legitimacy without Adaptability can preserve confidence while conditions change underneath it. Alignment without Clarity can mobilise an organisation efficiently in the wrong direction.
The Transition Signature™ makes that pattern visible.
